Marriage Record No. 29, Grodziec Evangelical Parish, dated the 6th of June 1871, of Jan Samuel Pfeifer, 25 years old, a bachelor, a carpenter living in Grodziec, born in the city of Konin, son of the deceased Jan Pfeifer, a former carpenter, and of his surviving widow, Rozalia, born Engel, (followed by something about them being tenants selling something) and residing in Grodziec, and of a maiden, Leokada Kurtz, 25 years old, born in Grodziec on the 21st of April 1846, residing in the settelment of Grodziec, daughter of the deceased homeowners (?) Gottfried and Friederike, born Ibel, married couple Kurtz. This marriage was preceded by three Marriage Banns. The newlyweds state they have not entered into a prenuptial agreement.
Witnesses: Gottfried Wojak, a parish singer, 30 years old, and Eduard Shultz, a miller, 37 years old, both residents of Grodziec
