I have uploaded this to my wife's family. I purchased it from Scottish Gov. Site.
Can you you tell me a few things that I'm a little confused by in record 657.
- In the 6th column "Name, Surname and Rank or Profession of father & Mother" are to be listed. In the the mothers cases both seem to sayM?S from what I can see. I have interpreted this as MRS. However Im wondering if this should be Miss. But why would the official put Mrs for the maiden name. We know for a fact that Haddow is the maiden name and for the bride Mcdermid is the maiden name of her mother. If you look at the second record 658 it actually seems more clear, which doesnt even look like Mrs or Miss. It just looks like MS. Can someone tell me the proper title here, Mrs, Miss, or some other thing.
- I'm sure you may not be able to answer this but oddly in the same (6) column, the married name of the mother I think is Elizabeth Taylor, then the maiden name is MS Haddow. Oddly I cant find any record for MS Haddow ever being called Elizabeth, her name was Isabella. I'm wondering if this was a mistake of the officiant since the brides name is Elizabeth. Or is this a name we have not known of .
Thank you.

M.S. = Maiden Surname
Isabella and Elizabeth can be the same name. Isabella is the Spanish form, and it is also sometimes used in Church records, especially if the priest uses some Latin derivations.
