marriage tagging

Because the marriage fact is shared by the couple, the source can only be tagged in the couple relationship. As discussed in other threads, that couple fact causes the tagging option for marriages to be quirky.

Marriage sources are attached and tagged on the Couple Relationship via the pencil icon next to the Marriage event. Your source box may be a useful 'bridge'.
It has been pointed out that the UI is by no means helpful here.

Update: PQS is no longer asking for marriage tags due to the difficulty around marriage tags. Issue is being looked into.

Please keep us updated on this.
I would have thought the PQS shouldn't care how good the UI was or wasn't when calculating a quality score, since this sort of gap is what drives people to report UI issues to the benefit of all.
Surely
a) the quality of relationships between profiles is just as important to the overall integrity of FT as the quality of individual profiles, if not even more so (although you really don't get that message from the FS website, where relationships seem to me to be far clearer on multi-persona Records than they are on the Tree Details tab), and
b) a tagged source (anywhere in FT) is effectively a positive statement from a user that the relevant conclusion is verifiable, and therefore something that should score higher than an untagged one?

I'm not sure I agree that a tagged source is "a positive statement from a user"
We see sources for same-named people attached all the time. Now that the PQS points out that sources are not tagged, it's just one more step for a user to tag that same incorrectly attached source.
I just spent 20 minutes detaching the sources for Lucile Boyle from the profile of Lucile Byler.
