Hello Carol,
Mother's maiden name is: Keisser.
Mother's birth place as recorded in the record: "Weilburg, Nasau" = Weilburg, Nassau.
Father's birth place is more challenging: _lbe Br_usen?
I'm not sure what the first letter is in the father's birth place: Albe or Olbe or maybe Elbe.
I tried many different truncated search combinations in Meyers Gazetteer and could not come up with any likely candidates.

@Robert Seal_1 My first thought for the father's birthplace was that it was meant to be Preußen/Prussia.

Thanks, @Áine Ní Donnghaile -- that makes sense. Any thoughts on what the word before Preussen is?

Nothing you haven't already suggested. Elbe was my first thought.

Robert - maybe Elbia? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Elbia

Yes, this is a possibility. Thank you.

Thank you @Robert Seal_1 and @Áine Ní Donnghaile
As I learn more about the family maybe the places will be sorted. New York City certificates are very useful but so variable.
