Locating document source
Some time ago I received the attached one-page document. It had been described to me as a page from the "Permanent Population Register of the Village Kolonia Ksawerow." It appears to come from the Archiwum Panstwowe w Lodzi (which is part of the Polish government archival site). Unfortunately I cannot find the document on that government website (https://www.lodz.ap.gov.pl/). A Polish researcher tried to locate the document as well, but has not been successful. Does anybody know if there exists an easy access to that "Register" (which seems to be some sort of "census" document)? I would like to consult additional pages in this register.
Thanks,
Rudi

I was not able to find the List of Residents of Ksawerow (Ksiega Ludnosci Stalej Ksawerow). There are many Ksawerow communities in Poland, and when I entered also Lodz, I found List of Residents of Lodz for various years, but not of Ksawerow. I attach one of those records for your reference. I found it in szukajwarchiwach - Polish State Archives. Please check Poland Resource Links in Poland Research Community – and when you click on it you will get instruction how to use szukajwarchiwach, but it seems that those records “Spis Ludnosci” may be restricted especially if they are dated within the last 100-150 years.
I recommend that you contact Archiwum Panstwowe w Lodzi, e-mail: kancelaria@lodz.ap.gov.pl sending them a copy of the Spis Ludnosci Ksawerow which you have and asking them if they could locate it. It may be that you will not be able to access it on Internet but you will need to pay some fee for them doing your research, but it may be worth it.

Hi,
The scan is from the following document, which is on the szukajwarchiwach website:
Księga ludności stałej wsi: Kolonia Ksawerów, Folwark Młodzieniaszek, Folwark Potaźnia, Młyn Biesaga, Młyn Ceryczyn
Reference code: 39/2158/0/-/99
scan 254
Here the link to the record: https://www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl/skan/-/skan/96ef1eefe837da3aee3067d2d431105eea90d82726aa35ece83fdbf9d27c86bc

Thank you Maria and Christine.
I found the website Christine sent me. Unfortunately my computer security setting does not allow me to access that site. Is there a more secure site/connection of those documents on FamilySearch?

Hi,
Unfortunately I don't know any other site where this document is published and could not yet find it on familysearch. Did you get your original document through familysearch?
Szukajwarchiwach is, as far as I know an official government website and accessing it is very safe.
Maybe, if the document cannot be found on familysearch, you could still go to a familysearch center and see if you can access the szukajwarchiwach website from there?
Kind regards

@hehesani63, links work best when they are not on their own line. I found and approved your message and then added it to your comment. I also deleted your name since it is technically against the code of conduct to use a name that is different than the username.

Thank you very much for your help!!
I didn't know so far that the username and the name that is signed need to be the same and will remember it for future comments.

I guess there is a strict protocol in how to communicate. Will take the blame for all those helpful people.
Thanks
