Finding Marriage License for Newark on Trent/Kilvington, NOTTS in 1745
On 4 Aug 1745, John Brunt, stocken weaver (30) married Lucy Males (30), both of Newark, by license at Kilvington, Nottingham (5 miles south of Newark). Where can I find the marriage license to get more information?

The Nottinghamshire Archives website at https://www.inspireculture.org.uk/heritage/archives/ suggests Ancestry.co.uk has its parish registers online and I found references to the marriage between John Brunt and Lucy Males on the Ancestry website. However, I do not have a subscription, so could only view tiny pop-ups from the index page, which appeared to relate to images of parish register entries, but possibly not the licence document itself
Alternatively, find the contact details for Nottinghamshire Archives (from their website) and inquire as to how to obtain a copy of the licence document directly from them.
Update - after giving this matter further thought, I remembered I once obtained a M/L copy from the University of Nottingham. I looked at their website and found this page, containing very useful information on the subject:
