While this marriage took place in Åbenrå, Denmark, it appears that the entry is in German.

It is the marriage record of Niels Andersen, son of Anders Rasmussen and Anna Hansdatter, to Anna Christina Nissen, daughter of Jurgen Nissen and Dorothea Hansen Knoes.

It appears that the marriage took place 20 Feb 1852, but there is some mention of an event in Copenhagen on 23 Jan 1852.

Die Copulation geschah auf eine Concession des geistlichen Ministerie Kopenhagen d 23 Januar 1852 im Hause der Eltern der Braut.

Der Bräutigam geb in Söby d 30 Septbr 1828 und conf in Bjerreby 1843 prod. einen Tauf und Confirmationsschein nebst Bescheinigung daß er einen ___? vom Leuthin? Finck vom 30 July 1829 prod. habe von Pastor Heilmann Bjerreby 10 Fbr 1852 Bescheinigung, daß er von Eheverbindlichkeiten frei sei und keine Unterstützung erhalten habe von demselben, Vaaroe d 16 Debr 1851. Brief seines Vaters, aus dem die Einwilligung hervorgeht. Söby 16 Debr 1851.

The sub-hunter Niels Andersen from here, legitimate son of blacksmith Anders Rasmussen in Söby, parish Bjerreby on Taasing, and his wife Anna Hansdatter,with Anna Christina Nissen from here, legitimate daughter of the local day laborer Jürgen Nissen and his wife Dorothea Hansen née Knöes.

The copulation took place by concession of the Copenhagen deanery on January 23, 1852 at the home of the bride's parents.

The bridegroom, born in Söby on 30 September 1828 and confirmed in Bjerreby 1843 produced a baptism and confirmation certificate together with certificate that he has a produced a ___? from Leuthin? Finck dated July 30, 1829 from Pastor Heilmann Bjerreby 10 February 1852 that he is free of marriage obligations and has received no support from the same, Vaaroe, 16 December 1851. Letter from his father stating consent. Söby 16 December 1851.

The bride who was born here on the 16th of February 1833 and confirmed 1847 produced a ___? of the Reg.Ch. Smitte, Sonderburg 21 May 1833.
