Processing data from Kyiv State Historical Archive (2007-1-3078)
Recently I have received a response from Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine (CDIAK) that according to their "partner's agreement" with FamilySearch (FS), the latter is processing (digitizing and publihsing) some archives stored at CDIAK.
I am specifically interested in volume/fund #2007 (Kharkov church records, 1722-1800)
Would anyone connected to the Family Search processing unit be able to confirm that it does have record #2007-1-3078 and plans to publish it on the website?
Or refer me to the right place/person to inquire?
This specific record, #2007-1-3078 cannot be found online on the main FS website (or in the "offline library" catalog) as of right now.
There is a small amount of other individual "cases" from this volume/fund #2007 available on the website that can be found through search engine. For example,
2007-1-196 (DGS# 112830456);
2007-1-197 (DGS# 112830455);
Thank you

Familysearch recently (May/June 2023) hired more than one expert in Slavic languages to help them automate the process of indexing Russian/Ukranian/Church Slavonic records. So, they have stacks, evidently, and are working with paid experts and paid indexers to get them going.

The FamilySearch catalog has been locked and not updated for more than two years. That means any recently digitized records will not be found by searching there. You may find more recent items in the Images search.
I'm not staff, but FamilySearch rarely indicates what new records are coming.

Thank you Áine,
Yes, I am searching for images of archive volumes/books, not indexed records.
Sorry if the question was confusing.

My comment does not refer to indexed records.

Thank you sbspencer,
This is interesting info.
I guess the expectation is that they will "release" new documents only after they have been indexed.
That makes sense.
The archival volume I am after, 2007-1-3078, howeve, does not have birth/death/marriage certificates, it has "confession lists". Normally they do not index those, as I understand.

@Dima23 Not necessarily. MANY records are never indexed. Only a small percentage of the total films, now digital images, on FS have been indexed.

You probably noticed by now, but just in case I can see that 2007-1-3078 has been published
