Date of Birth Conclusion
My Irish aunts were terrible fibbers about their ages - often shaving off 10 years or more when the census enumerator came around. I was interested to see how the program would handle their records.
Aunt Alice was one of the biggest fibbers. I believe the error message could be better worded. The official birth record (in this case her church baptism that includes her DOB) should be considered a more reliable source. I think the wording of the error should be reversed since the dates/ages on censuses are far less reliable. I foresee accurate dates of birth being changed to match the movable feast of dates in other records based on the error message.
Thanks.

Update: several updates have changed the look of the response. And of course the discrepancies still show. Suggestions can be dismissed. Would you be willing to take another look at this and let us know what you think? Thank you

@Rhonda Budvarson yes, I'm aware the wording has been improved, giving more weight to the vital record than to the census. The previous wording made it appear that the reported age in the census was more reliable/valuable/important.
