Is this who I am looking for????
I have seen this record a couple times now and told myself it wasn't the Buseck name. Third time now and I am going to ask for a translation on it. Anna Catharina-I have her birth/baptism and a confirmation record I found yesterday. Been trying to find marriage and/or death--is this her. The Nicolaus name stands out as there are few records I find with this first name. Thus I feel it must the record. Sorry for the rambling. Thank you for your assistance. I expect a negative on this but will be pleasantly surprised if I hear otherwise. The record of interest is the bottom one.

Hello @TrishAndersen,
You did well with your translation and captured the essential information.
Here is my translation which you can compare with yours:
Greifenstein, on the 29th of June between 7 pm and 8 pm the master mason Nicolaus Busick's legitimate daughter Anna Catharina died from edema, and was buried on the 1st of July. Age 25 years, 9 months, and 3 days.
Comments: Here the surname is spelled "Busick" but this is likely still your Buseck family. Keep up the good translation work.
Some vocabulary words for you:
Maurer = mason
Maurermeister = master mason
Wassersucht = edema

I think it is your Buseck (I read it as Busick in this record). The word before Nicolaus is "Maurermeister" (Master Mason). After Anna Catharina is that she died from Dropsy.

Yes I see the i in Busick. All german records have been with an e. American spelling for me has been Busick. Yes he was a mason as recorded in his marriage record. So she was not married. Thank you

You're welcome, Trish. And the way the record is written Anna Catharina was not married when she died.
