Transcription & Translation of DEATH Certificate
Good Afternoon,
I recently found a death certificate for, Heinz Anton Plohn, and have been working to transcribe & translate the information. There are a few parts that have me stymied, so I am hoping someone out there can help me out. I am attaching the original certificate, as well as what I have been able to figure out. Hopefully, this will tell me what he died from.
I appreciate any assistance, and thank those who might take the time to do this.

Hi Sylvia, Hi Robert:
Thank you both for your quick responses to my inquiry. I really appreciate both of you helping me out with the transcription & translation of this death certificate. It helps to fill in the missing parts I could not make out.
It's too bad it doesn't mention either the mother, or the cause of death for Heinz Anton. I have come to realize that all these certificates don't contain the same information, even within the same time periods. The other thing that seems a bit odd to me, and perhaps it's just the formality, but to see H.A. referred to as a pupil/student rather than than Robert Wolf Plohn's son. Fortunately, I know who his mother was, and that H.A. was their eldest son.
Again, thank you ever so much with your assistance.
Sincerely

You're welcome. You did quite well with both the transcription and the translation.
You make a good point about these civil registration records. Generally there was no requirement to identify relationships between the informant and the deceased. It's good that you have other information that supports the father-son relationship between Robert and Heinz.
