Seeking guidance
I have discovered a register list at the end of the film. I have never seen death records like this. Please confirm that is what it is. I will attach three images to assist you. Thank you
- could you explain how to search on this film
- Identify for me the Buseck name in the B list
- How is the year of death determined
- anything else you can advise on?

The first item simply says that this this is Kirchenbuch - church book - #11 for Müschenheim, and spans the years mentioned for the two towns. The index includes names for both towns, mixed together.
The second item is a B-surname page from that index. The names in early indexes are usually only alphabetized by the first letter of the surname, so you have to go through the entire listing, e.g. all the Bs, maybe more than one page, to find your person. Sometimes, if there are too many names beginning with a particular letter, there will be an addendum with more of that letter's surnames, fitted in on another page, often after a letter that doesn't have many surnames listed, but sometimes at the end of the index. For example, there are tons of surnames starting with S. If the cleric ran out of pages for S-surnames, he might have continued the listing on the O page, because there were only a handful of O-surnames, and there was room to continue the S listing there.
The numbers listed after the name are the index page in the register where that person's record will be found. If the number has a "b" after it, it usually means it's on the reverse page, i.e. the next left-hand page. In this example, there are no Buseck surnames listed, although the surname Buß appears a couple times.
The year of death is sometimes written at the beginning of that year's entries in the register, so you may have to go back or forth a few pages to find the numbers written out - and the numbers in earlier registers are often Roman numerals, so you have to take some time to figure out the year from that. Sometimes the year may be written at the top of each page, or across the top of two facing pages. In the sample you've posted, the year is on the first line of the record - "Im Jahre Christi Achtzehn hundert und Neun."

Your elaborate detailed explanation is greatly appreciated. Is there a way to determine the town the person was in or from in order to document death place accurately?
Thank you

Based on the first image you posted, it's possible that each town's records are recorded separately, but just combined in the index. This means there would be a title page somewhere that states that the records for XYZ town begin here.
If the records are combined in a single register with multiple towns, the town may be listed in the narrative of the record, or it may be listed under the name of the person in the margin. Later records that use a tabular format rather than a narrative format will often have a separate column for the town name - which may not be filled out if it's understood that all the people are from the same town. Sometimes the town name may be written across the top of the form.
