translation request on 2 similar names
I feel these two deaths are related. I am trying to determine where they fit in my family tree. So many in the family line or in german records use the same repeated names. Hoping the translations will assist me.
1840 death
1842 death Would you also translate the column headings for assisting me in future records.
Thank you so much

Hello @TrishAndersen,
The first record is a death record and the second record is a marriage record.
Without column headings for the death record I will have to guess at what the headings are.

Age: 79 years, 4 months, and 12 days.
Who does the decedent leave behind: he was a widower and leaves behind 3 adult children.

Hour of death: 2:00 pm.
Cause of death: debility of old age.
Officiating clergy?: the same [as written above].
Date of burial: 5 June.

Comment: I'll work on the marriage record tomorrow unless another volunteer translates it first.
