sok.riksarkivet.se and Swedish records in FS catalog
I useArkivdigital to research swedish records. I have had complaints that because Arkivdigital is subscription based, others cannot see sources I create of references to records in questions I ask. Is there someone who would be willing to teach me how to find the same records in sok.riksarkivet.se and the records in the FS catlalog to find the same records I am looking at on Arkivdigital.
Thanks for your help!

The simplest thing to do is to just take a snap shot of the image in arkivdigital and attach that to the source instead.
To use familysearch go to familysearch.org the click search then catalog, then in the place name bar type "Sweden, insert parish name here." Click search, and then click on church records, then click on the collection of records you want. Scroll down to see what is on each microfilm and if there is a camera icon to the right, you can click to see the images online.
In SVAR, click digitala forskarsalen, then click kyrkoarkiv, then type in the name of the parish you want.
You will find that those other websites do not have the same awesome features that arkivdigital has. The images will often be in black and white and on arkivdigital, there are usually place name indexes at the beginning of each parish when using the household exams. Those are not there on the other two so you have to go page by page until you find the farm you want over and over again for each household.

Although another person complained because she wanted to help but didn't have a ArkivDigital subscription, I would disregard the complaint. The Swedish parish records are organized by parish, record type, volume identification, and page or image number on all 4 providers (ArkivDigital, Riksarkivet, FamilySearch, and Ancestry.) If you are working in ArkivDigital and click on Copy, then "Copy pure source identifier" and then paste it into your community post its enough. With that information anybody helping should be able to look it up without a problem.

Thanks!
I have been using RecordSeek to create references for sources in Family Search. I notice there that Record Seek indicates the volume reference for the source, but does not indicate the image or page number. Is there a better way to do that so that the "pure source identifier" is available to someone else wanting to see the source?
Thanks again!

If you really want a crash course on Riksarkivet, this video is about 5 minutes and should help you to get your bearings in the site:

RecordSeek is good and you can manually add the page number. I like to do screen shots of the image from ArkivDigital and then add it as a Add New Memory Source in FamilySearch. I type in the date and paste the info from AkrivDigital as the Source title, then Upload the Memory and I usually type From ArkivDigital in the Where the Record Is Found and call it good. The info in the title (for example Bjurtjärn (S, T) AI:20 (1856-1860) Image 48 / Page 39) has all the information that a person would need to look it up using any provider.
