Chile—Parish records by locations v/s general
Hello indexing team.
I have been working with a dozen of Saints in the Chilean Patagonia. They are desperate to find a way to sort indexing batches so that we get results from only our region.
This is important because the newly released parish records are separated by indigenous records and Spanish records.
The Saints in this area have the knowledge and cultural awareness that no other people possess which is to understand and index indigenous names.
To make a point, if we compare the extension of Chile to Europe, we want to index records from France, but we are getting records from Sweden or Norway.
The demographics are totally different and we could be more effective in indexing records that we understand of our own indigenous ancestors.
So, could we have some sorting options when it comes to choosing the batch? In that way we can choose to work on our region's parish first, and then keep on indexing other records.
