1710 marriage record help needed
Please help me decipher these 1710 marriage records: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS8Y-23J9?cat=15184
Both records at the bottom of the page seem to be for Peter Knecht[gen]. I think the one I want is the bottom one, but I'm not certain. Bahns for both were 9, 16, and 23 Martz. What was the marriage date? Both grooms seem to be [sons?] of Wilhelmen Knechtgen. Both brides are "Catharina" but surnaames are different
Other information might be helpful: occupations? towns? names of brides and fathers? witnesses? etc. Any and all details could help.

Hello @Gary Knecht,
FYI: The next-to-last record on the page is for a groom named Peter Kindt, son of Wilhelm Kindt.
Here is the translation for the last record on the page:
Marriage proclamations: 9, 16, and 23 March [1710].
Peter Knechtgen, legitimate son of Wilhelm Knechtgen at Widderth [Widdert], and Catharina Ernen, legitimate daughter of Georg Ernen at Rühlscheid [Rölscheid] ver_ . . ." [possibly the beginning of the German word for marriage, i.e., "verheiratet" or "verehelicht"].
Comment: There is no marriage date recorded.

Could it be Röllscheid: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%B6lscheid_(Solingen)?
Thanks again @Robert Seal_1

You're welcome, Gary. Yes, the place is most likely Rölscheid. Great job of finding this place!
Here is the link for Rölscheid from Meyers Gazetteer: https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/20618094
FYI: I edited my orginal response so you have a "clean" translation.

Also, note, Gary, that Rölscheid is adjacent to both Obenwiddert and Untenwiddert, and one of these places may actually be the place which is referred to in the marriage record as "Widderth", rather than the city district in Solingen.
Here is the link for Obenwiddert: https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/20350068
Here is the link for Untenwiddert: https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/20991041

All these places are in the Höhscheid district of Solingen, which makes it likely they are the family I'm looking for. "Widdert" is in many records I have located. "Rölscheid" is new to me. During the 1700s and until 1841, existing Höhscheid church records seem to be filed with "Solingen" records. At least at FamilySearch.
Thanks again @Robert Seal_1
