Town of Origin
Hello I am trying to figure out the town of origin for one of my ancestors. Conrad Charles/Charles Conrad. He came to the United States around 1850. His immigration papers say he was from the Kingdom of Saxony. I have searched for this city but suspect it may be spelled wrong. Does anyone have any idea what town/city this refers to? Thanks!

The nearest I find is Eldenburg:

Neither is Kingdom of Saxony, however.

The challenge is that in 1850 there were lots of little principalities and dukedoms and microstates that had Saxony in the name, like Saxe-Coburg or Saxe-Meiningen, not to mention the Province of Saxony vs. the Kingdom of Saxony - which were two separate states. Looking in Meyers with that in mind, and being liberal with handwriting, I also found a place called Eilenburg in one of the Saxonies - https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/10416027. I also tried looking in Meyer's for towns ending in -berg instead of -burg, and got a few hits, but again, not what you have written here. I tried looking to see how widespread the Conrad surname is in Germany, and unfortunately it's everywhere, a lot. So that doesn't help narrow it down either.
I would recommend some search possibilities here in the US to pursue - look at a county history book for the place this person settled. They contain biographies and often include place of origin, Look at church records where he settled - parishes of German immigrants often kept their records in German and would include place of origin in those records. See if there was a German-language newspaper where he lived and check for an obituary, which might also mention his place of origin.

This would be a very far pitch , and would make the locality Frisian.
