The 2nd word in this entry is used in many entries, can you tell me what it is and means?
An interesting 2nd witness. Could this be translated:
Den elter Roettger ist Sch_____
In other baptisms a Cath. Marie Roettgers is often a witness.
Thank you so much!

The word is ließ = let. Together with the last word in the second row taufen = baptize the meaning becomes: [Moritz Schaper] let baptize ...
I read the second witness as: Der alte Röttgen s. Stiefvater(?) = the old Röttgen, his stepfather
