Help with 1736 Dresden Baptism Erdmuthe Friederica Ermel
Hello,
I'm hoping this baptism record will prove the relationship between my 4th great grandmother and her father. It was found on Ancestry from the Dresden weekly church notices. Can anyone please translate this? The entry is toward the bottom of the page.

Herr Doct. Johann Friedrich Ermel, der Medicus? b? Practicus....Erdmuth Friederica
Mr. Doctor Johann Friedrich Ermel, (then the record talks about the father, how he is a doctor and practitioner, I don't know what the word starting with a "b" is, but it is all talking about the father's profession.) The child is Erdmuth Friederica.
That looks like the only information there is. Wouldn't it be great if they were to mention the mother's name?

Thank you for the translation. I agree that it would be nice if they always listed the mother but I have a good idea of who it is, as she was the wife of Doctor Ermel until her death in December 1736. The entry date (birth/baptism) is unclear to me. The previous page looked like it was January of 1736 and one person has listed her birthdate as 17 January 1736 in their own family tree. Do the small numbers at the top of the page indicate anything?
