Did I get this right: fornication and Prussia?
Looks like my ancestor was a naughty girl. Did I transcribe and translate it correctly? I wasn't sure about the Prussia word -- doesn't seem to follow the normal spelling, esp. with the 'g'.
Thanks!

Hello @Tom Randolph,
You did very well with your transcription and your translation captures the essence of this record.
Yes, you are correct with the word "Unzucht" meaning fornication. I don't think the other word relates to Prussia. I read the word as "Preißgaw" which might be a variant spelling of "Breisgau", which is a region in southwest Germany. Note that in German the letters "B" and"P" were often interchangeable because of pronunciation, especially in names and place names.
I would slightly change the way you translated the information about Hanß Georg Wagner:
. . . from Maltherding, native (or native-born) out of the Preißgaw . . .
I could find no place in Meyers Gazetteer called "Maltherding". This place might be "Malterdingen" which is located in the Breisgau region in Baden.
Here is the link for Malterdingen from Meyers Gazetteer: https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/20132022
Here is the link for Malterdingen from the German Wikipedia: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malterdingen
Use your browser's translate function to translate to English, then note under section 1.1 , Geographical location, that Malterdingen lies in the Upper Rhine Plain in northern Breisgau . . .
Here is the link for the Breisgau region from Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breisgau
Keep up the excellent transcription and translation work.

@Robert Seal_1 , Thanks for making the connection to Bresgau! I had identified Malterdingen in Meyers but had not looked carefully enough to see that. Very, very much appreciated!
