Translation of 1767 baptism record Dresden, Saxony
Here is the baptism record of the brother, Christian Wilhelm Rocksch, of my great grandmother. He's baptized on 25-March-1767 but what does the rest of the record say?
I think it refers to a Carolina Concordia Ermel, who is the mother's sister and godparent to this child. Perhaps it also refers to the grandfather, a doctor Johann.
Many thanks for help, Paula

Here is a clearer image:
I have noticed that, unfortunately, Archion's images lose a lot of resolution when using their download system. I assume that is, in part, because the only option is a PDF format. For transcription purposes it seems it is better to use a screen grab/ snipping tool to get the highest resolution possible. But then you lose the nice reference information and often the headings too. So maybe it is best to post the full page download as well as a higher resolution screen grab.
I've also noticed a very slight loss of resolution on this forum when uploading a record as an image vs as a file.

Here's what I get:
Father: Mister Johann Christian Rocksch, citizen, merchant and shopkeeper here
below : the mother is(his) wife Erdmuth Friederica, nee Ermel
Child: Christian Wilhelm, born early on 23 March at 9 oclock
Sponsors: Mister Johann Friedrich Erter, Hofe Conditor? here
The single Christiana Concordia, surviving legitimate daughter of Doctor Johann Friedrich Ermel, Hofe Medici here
Mister Carl Gottfried Kretschmar B.? merchant and ship trader? in the local Neustadt.
Additional note:
Under the childs information is a faint circle with what looks like 1793 / 126 (or G?) which could possibly be a marriage year and page number though usually a marriage is indicated by two adjoining circles. The date might also be 1783 which would be too early to be a marriage event.

“Mister Carl Gottfried Kretschmar B.? merchant and ship trader? in the local Neustadt.“
'B' is likely an abbreviation for 'bürgerlicher' (civic), i.e. he was a citizen of Neustadt.
