Translation of Military record
I wonder if someone can assist me with the translation of biological Grandfather's military record card. His name was Kurt Adolf Walter, 29 Oct 1921 in Pforzheim. He was in 5 Fallschirmjager division, captured by the Americans in Battle of the Bulge and transferred to British hands at end of the war. He stayed in UK where he married my Grandmother. I am trying to gather as much info as possible as I never met him as I was adopted and would love to know more about my German ancestry.
Thanks.

@KerryannDavies From what I can make out, KAW1 really only holds the information that he suffered from enterogastritis in 1942 (His name and birth date you know already.)
According to KAW 2, he was captured on November 11th 1940 and transfered to the English on Jan 11th, 1945; he was released as German prisoner of war on Dec 31st, 1948.

@StH31 Thank you so much, was there anything on there to do with his pilot's certificate?
Thanks again.

@KerryannDavies '“KBL DD Fliegerzeugnis und Krankenunterlagen aus der Kgf.; KBL –, 29.10.29 –;Familiennamen Kurt und Adolf – abgelegt, – –“' (KAW2, last two lines)
"KBL DD pilot's licence and medical record from [his time as] POW; KBL –, 29. October 1929 ?; names Kurt and Adolf given up"
The bit about the names is confusing because 'Familienname' is the word for 'last name' but Kurt and Adolf were first names for him.

@StH31 I just wanted to clarify he did in fact have a pilot's licence. I really appreciate your assistance with the translation, thank you.

@Charlotte Noelle Champenois Thank you for your time and help. I did in fact post the records, but if you can make out any more from the military abbreviations I would really appreciate it, especially as regards to the pilot's certificate.
