Last name?
Can someone please help me with the maiden name of the wife in this death record. Of less importance is the word that precedes Brustfieber. It is the first entry 39a. My transcription is below.
Thank you
Phil

It's really hard to make out the wife's maiden name because of the poor image quality. I would recommend looking for her marriage to Tanner and maybe it's easier to read in that record, or finding her death record, which may also record the maiden name. Birth records for their children may or may not record mother's maiden name, depending on the usual practice in that parish. That said, it looks like it could be Sidert or Sickert? There are two letters after that - v.h. - which are some sort of abbreviation, maybe "von hier"? (This abbreviation also appears after the maiden name of the wife in the next entry below.)

Thank you for the tips. I'll look for other records with her name. I really appreciate your help.
