Not sure about a couple of words in 1787 Alsace death record
I would appreciate help with a couple of words and confirming a couple others in this 1787 death record for Christmann Wohlhüter in Kauffenheim, Alsace
- can't make out what looks to be 'ergung tes' (bolded)
- what looks to be 'geborenes' is not clear at the end -- is that the correct word?
- 'Gicht' appears to be the cause of death, which translates as gout, but it being 'gicher' as convulsions would make more sense -- do you agree?
- Just want to confirm that 'Es' and 'durch' are correct
Thanks!

Christmann Wohlhütter, K: child [K is perhaps for Kauffenheim?]
In the year 1787, the 13th February early towards 4 o’clock in the morning, Christmann Wolhlhüther, the legitimate born little son of Lorenz Wohlhüter, Citizen and Farmer here, with Catharina Magdalena née Kunz from Bühl, 8 days old, died here of convulsions. It was buried the day after in the morning at 10 o'clock according to our church practice, to which we testify.

My comments in bold:
- can't make out what looks to be 'ergung tes' (bolded) erzeugtes
- what looks to be 'geborenes' is not clear at the end -- is that the correct word? gewordenes
- 'Gicht' appears to be the cause of death, which translates as gout, but it being 'gicher' as convulsions would make more sense -- do you agree? I would expect "Gichter" (cramps);
- Just want to confirm that 'Es' and 'durch' are correct "Es" is correct; "durch" does not make sense - could it be "nach"? Don't know what the arc at the beginning is.

Here's a few corrections in bold to your transcription, which don't change the gist of your translation except for a couple of names. Re Gicht vs. Gichter, I agree that the latter makes more sense for an infant, and I've often seen that as a cause of death for infants. As far as "durch" vs. "nach" is concerned, a case could be made for either based on the handwriting here. However, "nach" is the more common usage, which I'm substituting here; also, I think that character before the "ch" is an "a" rather than "ur." Good job overall.
