Robert,
A question on your impression of Michael Hauner's mother: Anna Hauner
There was two sir names after her first name: Neubauer, then Kirgassner
With your knowledge, can you tell which name is a maiden name and maybe a previous marrriage sirname?
Thanks,
Daniel

It might be that the word before Neubauer is "verwitt.", an abbreviation of verwittwet (widowed), indicating she was previously a widow of a Mr. Neubauer. But the word is very difficult to read.
Kirgassner is her maiden name since it says geb. (née) Kirgassner.

Hello Daniel,
Anna's maiden surname is: Kirgassner. The word "née" before the name means: born.
I think the word I can't completely decipher before the name "Neubauer" might be a German word for: widow/widowed. Hence the name Neubauer is a previous or subsequent married surname for Anna.
Hope this helsp to explain the record.
Best regards, Robert Seal_1
