An interesting conflict of information
There is a marriage record for Simon Honnens of Seeth (by Friedrichstadt) in October 1811 to a woman followed by the birth of a child in 1812. What's interesting is that the record shows this Simon is clearly a son of my 5th greatgrandfather AND an earlier marriage record indicates he was first married to Christina Hennings in 1794, followed by the births of two children in 1795 and 1796. Christina died 12 Jan 1813, more than a year AFTER Simon married the other woman.
Does Christina's 1813 burial record contain a snippet of information that explains this apparent conflict?

That was exactly the kind of help and insight I was wanting. Thank you!
This is the first instance of divorce I've come across in all my family research in that time period. Interesting.
