Hello @Dietrich63,
Translation of both pages:
Number 2.
Wechold, 13 May 1878.
Before the undersigned civil registrar appeared today for the purpose of marriage:
(1) the servant Johann Heinrich Schwecke, recognized/identified by the known cottager Johann Heinrich Stelter, Lutheran religion, born 7 April 1843 in Martfeld, residing in Kleinen Borstel [Kleinenborstel], son of the "Vollköthner" Hermann Heinrich Schwecke and his wife Anna Margaretha Adelheit, née Fiddelke, residing in Martfeld.
(2) the domestic servant Anna Margaretha Maria Stelter, personally known, Lutheran religion, born 14 June 1850 in Wechold, residing in Wechold, daughter of the cottager Johann Heinrich Stelter and the wife of the same Margaretha Rebecka Elisabeth, née Meyer, residing in Wechold.
[Page 2]
The following witnesses were called and appeared:
(3) the cottager Johann Heinrich Stelter, personally known, 63 years old, residing in Wechold.
(4) the joiner Johann Bösche, personally known, 32 years old, residing in Wechold.
In the presence of the witnesses, the registrar asked the betrothed, one by one, the following question: whether they declare they want to marry each other. The betrothed answered this question in the affirmative and the registrar then declared that he would now, by virtue of the law, declare them to be legally married.
Read aloud approved, and signed: Johann Heinrich Schwecke |Margareth Schwecke, née Stelter | Johann Heinrich Stelter | Johann Bösche.
The Civil Registrar: D. Bösche.
Note in lower right corner of page 2: Party 2 [the bride] died: see record no. 15 for the year 1933 in the civil death register here.
My comment: "Vollköthner" = presumably a farmer on a full-size farm.
