Thank you so much. I think that Anna in this record has to be a close relative. I have tracked my great grandfather, Dietrich Heinrich Schwecke to the village of Mehringen. He was married to Elizabeth Meyer. They immigrated to the USA in 1892 with 8 children. I have birth records of 4 of their children from Mehringen. I have always wondered if they had brothers and sisters that did not immigrate. This is the first record that shows that Schwecke's did remain in the area of Mehringen in Germany. I have 2 other records that I will submit soon for translation. Once I get all these records translated, I may be able to put together a plan of where and how to search further. Again, thank you for your help. This is more exciting than getting candy for Christmas.
