Hi
I know it's Czech. Just need some fresh eyes.
Can anyone help me with this month? The entry above his is much clearer.
Also the margin date of 16 October 1901 is that his death date?
Thank you!!

Hello Martha,
I read the month as "máje" = May.
Notice that three of the records on this image show death dates written in the column which includes the child's name in the more familiar format with the + and the date. So what is written in the margin for your record of interest may or may not be a death date. What is written before the date looks like an abbreviation: kr. l.

Hi Robert:
That month had been puzzling me for days. Thank you!
I'm used to the + indicating a death.
All death dates listed with + are close to the event.
It looks like some scribe went back years later and added the dates. Note they are bolder and made with a real pen.
They don't appear to be random. A marriage date would list the spouse.
Thank you for all you help. Couldn't do it without you.
