Where to find Parish records
I know the town my German relatives lived was Langenstadt in Bavaria. I have looked in Kevan Hansens book Map guide to german parish records. It says that this town is in the Kulmbach area. The parish listed as being in Langenstadt.
I have found some family record in the Archion Kulmbach site but not all. My question is, Are there record that are not online for Langenstadt. Or are they all in Kulmbach?
Is there another research guide that shows the parish places for towns?
Thank you,
Gail
PS is this the best place to ask this question?

Meyers Gazeteer is also a place to find the catholic and protestant parishes for a village. Langestadt is the protestant parish and Kulmbach is the catholic parish for Langestadt.

There are some Kulmbach parish records here:

There is also a familybook for Kulmbach. I don't know if it will include the Langestadt area.

Edit: It looks like it might include some of your ancestors

Thank you,
I am looking for lutheran records in the 1700's. I did find the information in the ofb which was also in the archion records. But I haven't been able to find the 1700 langenstadt records.

Hello @Gailroberts
not all church books are available online on Archion or elsewhere. You may want to contact the parish office in Hutschdorf (pfarramt.hutschdorf@elkb.de) which is now responsible also for the church in Langenstadt (https://www.e-kirche.de/web/kg-langenstadt) and ask about the availability of the old church books.
