What are these words in this Hamburg Passenger List?

Please see the two highlighted words.

Ancestry has transcribed the first one as "Landmann," but to me the first letter looks like an H. This word is repeated many other times on the page.

Ancestry transcribed the second word as "Frau," which can't be correct because the Caroline two lines above is the actual Frau.

I would agree that the first word can be Landm, an abbreviation for Landmann.

I have no suggestion for the second word.

To see this scribe's capital "H", see the name in the very next line on this same page which is: Heller, Heinr.

I read the word as: Landm = Landmann = farmer.

The second word escapes me.

To me, the second word looks like Frau written over the word Kinder.

Thank you both for your input. I think part of the problem is that the scribe used a combination of both Latin- and German-style letters. I’m sure now that the first word does start with an L (so most likely Landmann), because it’s exactly the same letter as in the town the Hellers came from: Luplow. I originally thought it was a German-style H.

Thanks for taking a look at this word for me. I agree that it does kind of look like the word Kinder with the word Frau over it, but unfortunately neither of these words could be correct. Maybe the scribe just made a mistake, but you would think the word should be describing this 56-year-old woman’s relationship to the 30-year-old Heinr Heller. The obvious answer would be Mutter, but I know that’s not his mother’s name and that is definitely not what it says.

I don't think the entry is intended to describe the relationship to Heinrich. It is simply to describe the status of the person. So Frau could very well be correct. It only means that she is an adult woman who is not single. She could still be married and traveling without her husband or she could be a widow. In either case she would be listed as Frau.

In this case, if she is not Heinrich's mother, then she may be another older relative, perhaps an uncle's wife.
