It appears that this birth record identifies the Father as Georg Ljungfelt from Mellby (Norra Mellby probably). Is there anything else written about him that might be helpful or interesting? What is the significance of the date 1 Nov 1902? Thanks for your help - source for above is Norra Mellby (L) CI:6 (1895-1923) Image 530 / Page 47

This does say that on 1 November 1902 Georg Ljungfelt admitted to being the father of Erik.
Looking at the original record you can see that the mother is recorded on page 4 in the household examination records. That household record is here: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/00113080_00013#?c=&m=&s=&cv=12&xywh=-139%2C1939%2C3840%2C2018 . Anna Wendel is listed twice, once on line 20 and again on line 24 with Erik listed under her name on line 25.
Looking on line 16 you can see the father, Georg Samuel Ljungfeldt whose occupation is "Arr(endator)=Farmer". You can easily follow him in the records to see what happens to him if you wish to. He moves out to page 300 (in this same book) on 14 November 1903 and there is also a note to look in the Lysningsbok (Engagement book) at entry No. 7 for 1903. That record is here: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/00113116_00020#?c=&m=&s=&cv=19&xywh=8%2C2817%2C1669%2C1430. He marries Emma Maria Jönsson on 11 November 1903.
Anna Wendel marries Per Sjörgren on 30 December 1906. You can see that record here: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/00113116_00025#?c=&m=&s=&cv=24&xywh=148%2C2907%2C2219%2C1191.
In Erik's birth record, the place Mellby refers to farm/village Mellby where he is located in the Norra Mellby household records. Mellby No. 1 is the Prestgård (Vicarage) for Norra Mellby. If you are interested, you can look on page 1 of the household record mentioned above, and you can see the Vicar's name, Kellgren listed first on the page. And if you look further down the page, you can see a list of the pastors who helped in the parish. One of them, on line 24, is Karl Gustaf Linér. His name is written in the same, odd handwriting in the part of the entry that lists the father's name on Erik's birth record, so I am sure that he is the one who wrote that part of the birth record.
