Records are in years not exact dates
This website has been fantastic about giving me all kinds of records of my British family.
The only problem I have come across is that the birth and death dates are often only in years rather than the exact date.
How may I view the actual record?

You will need to be more specific. Only a fraction of English records appear on FamilySearch in anything other than the "vague form" (year and place only) that you have probably found.
For England & Wales records from 1837 you will need to order copies of the actual birth, marriage or death certificates that will contain full details from the General Register Office, or register office close to where the event took place.
To enable you to get the advice you require, please return here and provide more specific examples relating to your research.

To add to @Paul W 's comments, the only times you will find precise birth or death dates in English records, apart from GRO certificates, are:
- The 1939 register gives birth dates
- Free BMD gives birth dates for deaths from 1969.
- Occasionally baptism records give birth dates particularly for those baptised at a later age
- Some probate records give death dates.
