Are the records for Stapelmoor 1834-1836 available?
Could someone tell me please if FS holds the baptisms/marriages/deaths records for Stapelmoor for the period 1834-1836. I have searched available records in FS for this village (in the Weener area) and have found that the only records listed as being available for this time period are: Taufen, Heiraten, Tote 1828-1833 -- Taufen, Tote 1850-1852
https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/10895?availability=Family%20History%20Library
If not available, would anyone be able to suggest why they are not available (they do not exist/ were lost, are scanned but just not indexed etc), and how I might be able to access these records.
Thanks for your advice.

@Charlotte Noelle Champenois : This is so helpful, thank you so much for putting in so much effort for me, I really appreciate it. BTW, the book wasn't on the shelf because someone in the look-up team had retrieved it to copy some pages for me. There were a couple of pieces of information in the pages they emailed me (this morning) that were useful but I would need to scan through the whole book myself I think as I'm sure there will be a lot more that would be useful. I've just been in touch with Upstalsboom-Gesellschaft and the cost of that book is € 38.00 and postage to Australia is € 18.95. So not cheap. I'll have a think about it today and if I decide not to purchase the book I will get back to you with a couple of specific queries. Thank you for offering to help with this as it is a big brick wall for me. I'll get in touch with the parish today and see what they say about the missing records/ why they weren't scanned by FS. My best regards, Ian.

Image 1706 of microfilm 1183537 Item 6 lists information from the book "Übersicht über die Kirchenbücher der evangelisch-reformierten Gemeinden in Ostfriesland" about the existence of records from the Stapelmoor parish:
So, it doesn't indicate any gaps in the records. The Family History Library has a compiled family book ("Die Familien der Kirchengemeinde Stapelmoor 1709-1900") for the parish of Stapelmoor; however, it was not in its spot on the shelf when I checked today. In case the book shows up later, who specifically are you looking for? The same book is available for purchase through the Upstalsboom-Gesellschaft (a society for Ostfriesland genealogical research) at https://shop.upstalsboom.org/angebote/die-familien-der-kirchengemeinde-stapelmoor/265
The Catalog listing states that the records FamilySearch has copies of are from the Niedersächsischen Staatsarchiv in Aurich. You could try emailing the archive and asking whether they have BMD records for Stapelmoor from 1834-1836. You could also email the Stapelmoor parish itself; their homepage is https://stapelmoor.reformiert.de/startseite.html and you can either click on "Kontakt" at the bottom of the page to fill out a form, or you can email the pastor herself at barbara.wuendisch-konz@reformiert.de
By the way, you may find this write-up about Stapelmoor interesting: https://www.ostfriesischelandschaft.de/fileadmin/user_upload/BIBLIOTHEK/HOO/HOO_Stapelmoor.pdf (to translate, copy a section of the text and paste it into an online translator).

FamilySearch has filmed the duplicates that were sent to the state archives, not the original church records. These records often have gaps. The available years tend to vary from one parish to another.

@Charlotte Noelle Champenois and @BaerbelJ
Good news! I wrote to the pastor of Stapelmoor parish yesterday to ask her if she knew where the original parish records were now and she replied this morning that "the church records of our parish from 1800 onwards are in a wall cupboard with a fireproof door in my office in the vicarage" and attached the baptism record for my 2x great grandfather and his sister.
Thank you both so much for your help. To get the original baptism record for my 2nd grandfather is very important to me.
Best regards, Ian
