Bagheria, 12 Sep 1741 (it's 1741 because this volume is Sep 1741 to Aug 1742) ... baptized child born the 9th to Nicolo Rotolo and Agata Garbo[?], married, whom they named Angelo Giuseppe Giovanni. Godparents were Angelo Verdura and Angela Visconti.

@joseph99929 OK... I'm confused on something... Are the church record indexes for Bagheria baptisms written using the father's first name?
I thought I should check back further back in time for the correct record, so I find another Nicolo Rotolo in 1735. The index only had the name Nicolo Rotolo and record # and follow page (that was also the case for the original record link.
This is the record from 1735. It is #22 on the right side.

@Harleynut97 No worries, keep at it!
Indeed, the indexes appear to by father's name in these records!

@joseph99929 "the indexes appear to by father's name in these records"
Well that stinks!!! For many of these older ancestors, finding their birth records are sometimes the only way I learn the names of the parents. I can't imagine they would do that on marriage or death records.
Thanks for taking a second look at it- Carl
