Record for a stillborn child
I have found a record in ArkivDigital for a child I believe to be that of my 5th great-grandfather. The ArkivDigital record is found in Ånimskog C:2 (1737-1778) Image141 Page 273, entry 16. (See https://app.arkivdigital.se/volume/v13981?image=141).
I believe that the record shows the burial of a stillborn child of Sven Dunder on 8 September 1751.
Can anyone confirm this supposition? Given your knowledge and experience how likely is it that the unnamed child died on a different day than the burial? Would there be a separate record of the birth or death? I have searched through the birth records for that time and could not find any notice of a birth.
Thank you

Following are my responses to your questions. First, isn't ArkivDigital a wonderful source for Swedish family history research!
"dödfödda" in the source means stillbirths in English, so I believe this is an entry of a stillbirth.
"Sept_____" in the source --> Several other entries on the same page have two dates, probably the death and burial dates, so 8 September probably is the death date (and in the case of a stillbirth, would also be the birth date), and the priest creating the entry did not know or did not record the burial date. It is possible, but I think unlikely, that the stillborn child was buried on the death day (also the birth date for a stillborn).
"16 ???????" in the source --> This first underlined word on entry 16 probably is the place, farm or community in the Ånimskog parish where the stillbirth occurred - if you could read or figure out this place, it would tell you what page on image 4 of Ånimskog Al:3 Household Records (1747-1751) you could begin looking for the deceased child's family (father, mother and siblings), and there likely is an entry for the stillborn child, also.
"separate record of birth" --> The birth record would probably be on image 51/page 93 of Ånimskog C:2 - Entry 33, which appears to be the first birth on this page, is for Elias born on 19 August 1851; and, entry 38, which appears to be the last birth on this page, is for Maria born on 13 September 1851.
God bless your noble efforts,

The record says that the burial date is 8 September. The birth/death date could have been before that date, you can't really tell because no death date is given. There is no record of the child's birth in the birth records.
The name of the farm/village is Vassnöa (in the index it is written as Vassnöden). The family is at the bottom of page 62 in the Household Examination record for 1747-1751.
