Marriage Processetti Pietro Saporito & Maria Carmela Lanza
Well I found another valuable Processetti, This time I'm back in Paterno Calabro. Pietro Saporito and Maria Carmela Lanza were married on 5/21/1819.
Pietros parents were Dominico Saporito & Teresa Pulice. I do not know the names of Maria Carmela's parents. Sadly both the grooms parents were dead before the wedding. Not sure about the brides parents.

Image 33 Hoping this is the baptism extract of Pietro. Would like to know the date? and if the parents were from different towns
Image 34 I believe this is the baptism extract of Maria Carmela. Hoping to learn both the baptism date and names of parents. Not sure if it says their town of origin.
Image 35 I believe this is the death extract of Dominico Saporito. I believe he died in 1806 but not sure of the date or how old he was? I didn't see mention of his wife (unless I missed it)
Image 36 I believe this is the death extract of Teresa Pulice. Maybe died in 1803. Again I would like to know what the date was and how old she was.
Image 37 Could be a death extract of Maria's father. I think I see the last name Lanza. Would like to learn his name, the date he died and his age if given.
Image 38 Don't have a clue what this record is
Image 39 In some ways I wonder if this isn't part of another marriage.. but I could be wrong.
Again any help would be really appreciated - Carl

Image 33 (baptism of groom): Paterno, 7 Jun 1793 ... baptized child born from Domenico Saporito and Teresa Bussone (different surname so there was evidently some confusion), married, from this parish, whom they named Pietro
Image 34 (baptism of bride): Paterno, 27 Sep 1793 ... baptized child born from Ubaldo Lanza and Rosaria Fraulo[??], married, from this parish, whom they named Maria Carmela
Image 35 (death of groom's father): Paterno, 21 Aug `1806, Domenico Saporito, (either from here and temporarily living in Piane Crati, or from Piane Crati and currently living here in Paterno, it's ambiguous, personally I think it's the former because we see the groom was born in Paterno, not Piane Crati), died aged about age 60 ...
Image 36 (death of groom's mother): Piane Crati, 13 Mar 1803, Teresa Pulice wife of Domenico Saporito, from this parish, died age 47 in the countryside...
Image 37 (death of bride's father): Paterno, 26 Dec 1802, Ubaldo Lanza, age 36, died in his home...
Images 38 and 39 are baptisms for the next marriage

Once again such helpful information which has expanded and provided key details of this branch of the family. Gratias tibi ago Joseph 🙂
Let me follow up with a couple of questions.
Image 36 Was the death extract for Teresa Pulice sent from a church in Piane Crati or was it provided from the Paterno church (if you can tell) and just noted that she died in Piane Crati?
No doubt that Pietro was born in Paterno and his father died in Paterno. There are no early church records from Piane Crati unfortunately. I was just wondering if maybe the parents of Teresa Pulice could have been from Piane Crati (perhaps she was born there?
Anyways, thank you once again for all your help.

The death extract for Teresa Pulice was indeed prepared by the church of Piane Crati, and so she would have died there. It's tough to say whether or not her family was actually from there or from Paterno. It would take study of the church records on-site to know for sure. Her church death says she was from there, but it could just mean the family was living there temporarily.

Well I guess it will be a small mystery until they release the church records on-line. I was hoping maybe the church records were on line since Piane Crati is so close to Dipignano, but no such luck. Thanks again-Carl

Just a note of clarification - these processetti are all civil records. They sometimes include extracts of church records for events that took place before civil recordkeeping began (generally in 1809 in the southern part of Italy) but Antenati (with very few exceptions) does not have church records, only civil records in the custody of the various state archives. Church records are in the custody of either local churches or diocesan archives.

@Cousin Vinny You are correct. I was quite surprised to see church records for Dipignano. I hope all church records will eventually become on line in the future.
