Who are Johann Martin Hauser's parents?
I believe the attached is my 3rd great grandfather's birth record. I have his parents as Johann Martin Hauser and Anna Maria Link. The indexer for
the Württemberg, Germany, Lutheran Baptisms, Marriages, and Burials, 1500-1985 is spelling the last names Houser and Linckfin. Could you translate the entry and let me know the spelling.
Thank you

Hello @Kelly Rauch Hawver,
Translation:
Place and date: Frommern, born 3 Feb 1796, baptized the same day.
Child: Johann Martin.
Parents: Johann Martin Hauser, citizen and farmer, wife Anna Maria, née Linckhin [= Linckh].
Baptismal sponsors: Johann Martin Härter? citizen and baker; Johann Kaspar? ___tter? ____?; Anna Maria, wife of Johann Willhelm Jau__?
Comment: The mother's maiden name as written in this record is: Linckhin. The "in" suffix is added to German female surnames but it is not part of the surname and can be dropped, making the surname "Linckh". "Linckh" appears to be a variant spelling of the surname "Link" which we saw in an earlier record.
Suggestion: When you post an image which has a number of records on it, such as this one, it is helpful if you specifically state where the record is located on the image. In this case you could say something such as: next-to-last image on the left-hand page OR the record dated 3 February 1796 on the left-hand page.
