Sweden: Where did they go after Bjornbetstorp, Järnboås?
Hello,
I could use some thoughts on what to do next for a family group in Örebro.
Reference: ArkivDigital: Bjornbetstorp, Järnboås (T) AI:7 (1795-1804) Image: 216 Page: 211 - Jacob Pehrsson b 1749 Nora, m 1774 from Nora 1772, hust Christ Pehrsdot b 1747 Järnboås.
If I am reading the page correctly, this family group is stricken without a forwarding notation. At that time, there were only 2 family groups in this location. This family does not appear on the record for AI:8 at Bjornbetstorp, Järnboås. In AI:9, AI:10, etc. the location of Bjornbetstorp is not listed.
Two of the children are noted as moved, one to Nora and the other to Ramshytta (Ramsberg). The parents and other siblings do not seem to be with either of these two children at the new locations.
Using the search feature in AD is not offering any records either. And as you may have guessed any of these records are not yet indexed on AD.
Does anyone have any ideas where they may have gone? Or, suggestions about how I can go about tracing them.
Eileen

I managed to find Jacob Pehrsson in the death records for Järnboås. He is entry 23 on this record: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0000761_00154#?c=&m=&s=&cv=153&xywh=138%2C2557%2C3562%2C1913.
It says he came in from Nyhytte and he is in the household record here: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0000747_00169#?c=&m=&s=&cv=168&xywh=182%2C94%2C6932%2C3643.

Norm,
Thank you, thank you!
It is not often that my research leads me to the Riksarkivet site, which is probably because I do not have proficiency with that site. Apparently, this needs to be corrected. Do you have any tips or suggestions for using the site?

ArkivDigital is definitely the preferred site for Swedish research. With their indexed records and beautiful color images, it is an absolutely fantastic site! However, Riksarkivet is free and the records are only a little lower quality than ArkivDigital's images. I use Riksarkivet when I am at home, but when I am at the Family History Library in SLC, I use Arkiv a lot of the time.
It can be difficult to get to the page where you can search the parish records in Riksarkivet. This link will get you directly to the page where you can enter a parish name (be sure to use diacritics-Ä, ä, Ö, ö, Å,å-if they are use in the parish's name): https://sok.riksarkivet.se/kyrkoarkiv. If it comes up in Swedish, you can change it to English using the "Other Languages" button near the top right of the page. As of the time of writing this Comment, Riksarkivet is having some kind of issue and I have been getting an error message after entering the parish name and searching. It has been that way for a couple of days, but hopefully, they will get that fixed soon!
Using this link, you can check out other types of records: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/specialsok.
