Help interpreting long abbreviation on record
Thanks to this group, I was able to find out about the FHL's remote research program. I requested a document, and I need a little help understanding a long abbreviation that appears:
Particularly, what could "o.w.A., n.i.SM" mean?
Any ideas?
This record is from Amorbach, Bavaria.
Thanks!
Cody Bailey
Side question: For attaching this source to family tree, should I just add the title of the book and the page and entry information? Or would it be appropriate to add an image of the record (like the one I posted above)?

Hello @Bailey, Cody McKay
I suspect that these abbreviations are specific for this book or whatever it is. There should be a list explaining the abbreviations.
I can just guess that o.w.A. means "ohne weitere Angabe" = without further specification, and n.i.SM could be "nicht in SM" = not in SM (I have no idea what SM means).

Hello @Bailey, Cody McKay
You should contact the FHL remote research service again and ask them for the list of abbreviations which appear in this book.
Regarding your source: You should use the author, book title, publication information, and the page number as the source. If you are able to attach the image of this specific entry to the source, all the better.
