Translation Assistance
Hoping to get some help with translating a birth certificate of Franz Heinrich Adolph Emil Schoof. The record of interest is the third entry on the page (#11). Location is Haste, Nr. 30. There are a few names that I am stumped on. For the parents, the father is Johannes Ferdinand, but there is another name there that begins with a "G" that I can't translate, as well as any occupation that might be identified. The mother is Wilhelmine Caroline Adophine Georgine, born Schoof, and is the second wife. I can't make out the first name of the first godparent listed. And if the birthdate and time could be transcribed that would be excellent. The handwriting is very small and the image a bit out of focus. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Hello @KathyBugianesi,
Date and time of birth: 3 November, midday at 1:00 pm.
Father: Homberger, Johannes, Gehülfs-Expedient = Homberger, Johannes, assistant shipping agent
I am unable to decipher the forename of the first baptismal sponsor.
Question for you: If this couple is married, shouldn't the child's surname be "Homberger" rather than "Schoof"?

Hello @KathyBugianesi
the quality of the image is indeed poor; I think it is just a question of resolution/image size. Would it be possible to upload a higher res image or a link to the document?
This is what I can add to @Robert Seal_1 's translation:
Parents: Homberger, Johannes, assistant expedient at the station (Gehülfs-Expedient auf dem Bahnhofe) and his second wife (= Gattin II) Wilhelmine Caroline Adophine Georgine geb. Schoof
It looks to me that the first names of the godparents are not given; the word after the surname could be an occupation plus a home location. For all other entries the first name is written before the surname.

Hello @KathyBugianesi
with the additional information you provided I think I can now discern the sponsors as:
1.) Schoof, Lehrer (teacher) in Rohden
2.) Meyer, Wirth (innkeeper) in Aplern

Ulrich,
Thank you so much for looking at the certificate and translating what you could. The document was downloaded from Archion. I haven't worked on improving the resolution; frankly, I didn't think it could be improved. But I can ask my son to help me with that as I don't have a lot of experience with the program I would need to use. I found that most of the documents from that band were the same quality of resolution and the handwriting was so tiny (usually there is more flourish to the handwriting style in my experience).
I am so relieved to know that the words following Johannes name are related to occupation and not another first name. I am starting to piece together the Hombergers and I panicked that perhaps I was not researching the right person. I am curious to find out what an "assistant expedient at the station" does. Other records I have indicate his occupation as "stationmaster".
I stared at the godparent's names for so long. I referred back to my tree to see if any name I had made any sense. It was so frustrating. The Schoof's were teachers or sexton's or involved with their church as musicians or kantors. The location of the first is Rohden and the second is Alepern. The second godparent "Meyer", I have not seen before in other records.
Many thanks again for your help!! K

Robert,
Many thanks for the translation of the record. I must apologize for the error in the post. I worked a double shift yesterday and was trying to get the post out prior to leaving for work; it was done in haste and prior to coffee and I made a mistake. Yes, the child's surname was Homberger, not Schoof. Sorry for mess up.
The word after the surname of the first sponsor is definitely making me crazy. Good spotting that the other records have the first name written before the surname. I really wish I could figure this word out. I am going to look into improving the resolution of the document and hopefully I can learn more. Are you able to discern the first letter of the word following Schoof, by any chance?
Thank you again for your help!! Kathy

Oh my gosh, that was mad skill! Thank you so much. The first sponsor would have been Heinrich Ludwig Schoof, the child's grandfather. He was a teacher. Records identify him as a lehrer in der Grundschule zu Deckbergen which is a short distance from the town of Rohden. Perhaps he worked at both schools.
I'll need to keep investigating Meyer, though.
Thank you again! K
