What's the validity of digital parish records (birth, marriage) in Czechia?
I wanted to determine if the scans available, for instance, at the State Regional Archives of Litomerice (http://www.soalitomerice.cz/en/) are official to the Czech state.
If not, what would be the swiftest way to request a modern, valid, civil certificate equivalent to those parish records I have found?

Yes, you can access the scans online for free. What parilsh and time period do you need? The church record that you would find is the registration of the birth.

Thanks Betseylee. I had already found the parish records I needed.
My question is: are the scans considered to be valid certificates in Czechia?

Don't know for sure. Does anyone in the community know?

On another site, I found this from a person I would trust her answer. This is an answer she received for the same question.
"A while ago I found out for a person interested in obtaining a baptismal certificate from the 19th century
"Vilage Bošilec does not have a registry office, it is under České Budějovice. But the old books on birth are no longer in České Budějovice, but in the state archives in Třeboň. The archive no longer issues birth certificates, but only extracts from the birth book. So you only get a listing of what's in the book of births."
