Would you please explain the 1747 Herford, Westfalen, Germany, marriage date of "Dom: 4. P. Trin:"?

film 102625158; image 65 of 564; left page # 112; first column; last entry under Dom: 4. P. Trin:
for Jo. Herm. Hokamp and Cathar. Ils. Giselman
My Heritage.com has this translated as 25 June 1747? And I found it in the 1747 Gregorian calendar in Denmark (4 p. Trinitatis) also 25 June 1747?

I can't view the image of the record because I'm not a Latter Day Saint- there are access restrictions. This appears to mean the 4th day (or possibly Sunday) after the Feast of the Trinity. This Feast occurs on the 1st Sunday after Pentecost, which is 50 days after Easter. You should be able to work the date if you can find the date of Easter in 1747.

The date for the fourth Sunday after Trinity in 1747 is: 25 June 1747.

You're welcome, @CarolEKallmeyer.
P.S. The abbreviation "Dom:" in the record is for the Latin "Dominica" = Sunday.

Robert thank you again for adding the explanation for "Dom:"; it was a nagging question after the explanation of "4. P. Trin:"!
I can understand this "date" more completely now. Thank you for your patience in explaining.

Hi @CarolEKallmeyer,
Yes, when I first encountered this form of "date" many years ago, I, too, was puzzled. But once you know how to interpet this, it becomes routine.
