translation assistance with death record
Dear German genealogy group,
I would be grateful if someone could translate this death record for Johann Adam Braunfels (Braunfeld?). His mother may be Katherine Hollerin.
Location is likely Dannenfels. Spouse is Maria Barbara Ullman.
Thanking you for any assistance you may be able to provide.
Kate

Hello Kate,
The system has wiped out all of my answers for some unknown reason. I answered this for you yesterday but in case you didn't get it, I'm sending my translation again.
Today on the 20th of January 1844, Johann Adam Braunfeld, master shoemaker here in Dannenfels, surviving son of the deceased Katharina Holler from "Lamsheim" [Lambsheim] and husband of the still living Maria Barbara, née Ullmann, at an age of 63 years, 7 months, and 2 days, [who] died on the 17th of the month of January in the year 1844, was buried in the cemetery at Dannenfels.
The death of the buried person has been entered in the death register of the community of Dannenfels according to the certificate of the civil registrar of 18 January 1844, which was handed to the undersigned pastor.

I am sorry to hear that the system has wiped out your entries! That could be discouraging.
But yes, I received this helpful translation yesterday. I'm looking forward to incorporating it into my growing set of records that pertain to my family's German lineage. Your help has been invaluable, Robert.
Gratefully
Kate
