    Furthmore on karenrasmussen message on Kirchenbuch 1606-2004.

    I can confirm that I am able to access some images at my local FamilySearch Affiliate Library; however, I am unable to access the remaining images, as they appear to be locked.

    The collections I am currently able to view are:

    • Taufen 1606–1625, Heiraten 1606–1642, Tote 1606–1654
    • Taufen 1726–1766
    • Taufen 1865–1895
    • Taufen 1895–1920
    • Tote 1881–1934

    @Gabands

    Generally, films in this collection that include recent records—many of which are less than 50 years old—have been appropriately restricted from access. However, I have identified an issue with films containing item numbers that reference records over 100 years old. These items have been separated, yet permissions have not been assigned according to the corresponding year ranges. In effect, if one item number required restriction, that limitation was incorrectly applied to all items on the film. I have documented this and will bring up the issue with engineers.

    Thank you for your feedback.

    @SerraNola Thank you. Any further developments with the films becoming available for viewing?

    @Gabands I did receive a response from Rights Management that this is not an error. The films are in the same collection but they are under different contracts governing access. One contract allows access in Affiliate Libraries and the other doesn’t.

    My contact sent a request to Contract and Compliance to see if they can do anything, but I wouldn't hold my breath. C & C usually doesn't respond quickly. Sorry, it's not better news. I really thought it would be an easy fix.

    (This post also applies to your other thread.)

    @SerraNola thank you, and makes sense, but at the same time it is frustrating. The nearest FamilySearch Centre to me is Wyndham Victoria Australia FamilySearch Center (27 Shaws Road Werribee, VIC 3030) the problem is I have tried reaching out to them either vie email and phone call. As I am trying to find out when I can access their facility to view records, I haven't had any responses from them.
