Regarding microfilm # 2123397 under "Registri ecclesiastici di Coli (Piacenza); 1694-1992" in Italy. Is it possible to split up the microfilm's content so that the years that are not within the data protection period can be searched? Thanks.

Same issue with microfilm #2125586 under "Registri ecclesiastici di Rosso Piana (Coli, Piacenza, 1600-1965)". Thanks.

    Hi @Patrizia Palla
We users have been told that a project is underway to split the longer DGS/films apart for that very purpose.

The sheer quantity of records/DGS means that process will not be quick.

    Hope this helps!

Both films have been separated, but it appears to me that the group dates are inaccurate, causing automatic No Access. I’ll work on fixing this.

As you may already be aware, the civil registration records for Coli are freely accessible on Antenati or on FamilySearch with an LDS account.

Thank you Áine.ní.Donnghaile, it sure helps to know.

Thank you SerraNola. Yes, I am familiar with Antenati. However, the civil registration records for Coli are still missing the ones from 1866 to 1910; and the church records on FamilySearch for the same period are within the above mentioned microfilm. I appreciate your help in fixing it.

I apologize for not opening a new post. Since my question relates to what you mentioned, I just thought it would be easier to utilize this one. A few minutes ago, I created an LDS account. However, just like with my regular FamilySearch account, records are still inaccessible. Why? Thanks.

@Patrizia Palla You are correct. I thought I had checked before responding previously, but permissions for this collection are either "No Access" (your films) or "Access Anyone".

You provided microfilm numbers, but the digital film numbers are 4272603 and 4272544. I corrected metadata for 4272603 and after the next scheduled permissions update you should be able to access 21 of the 22 item numbers from Images. For 4272544 the date error was found in Catalog Record Notes which must have found a way into RMS data. This one may take longer to resolve.

    Thank you for your patience!

Thank you so much, SerraNola! You have been very kind.

I apologize for providing microfilm numbers instead of the digital ones.

Please kindly note that there is a similar issue with Image Group #4274461 (Registri ecclesiastici di Peli, PIacenza, 1593-1941). Thank you.
