Hi - I assume this is an error message for everyone, and not just me? What does "in the future" mean? :) Thanks.

Yes, everyone sees that message when they use the main menu to go to Memories > Find.

We have heard nothing more specific than the obvious meaning of "in the future" — sometime after today and before the end of the universe. We can assume that it is on the list of features to implement at some point, but other features seem to be a higher priority for the limited engineering resources to work on at this point.

The Memories App has Find by Text or Topic Tag.

As an active Memories user, this update feels a bit sad but understandable. Groups were useful, yet I see the logic of keeping memories closer to people and records for long-term preservation. One thing this change really highlights is how important photo quality is now — clear images make memories easier to read and emotionally stronger for future relatives. I’ve personally started using simple photo enhancement tools to clean up older pictures before uploading, and it genuinely helps keep details from being lost over time. Thanks for sharing the context behind this decision and listening to community feedback.

Disappointing to see the People tab going away. It was a great way of sharing photos around a person without requiring authentication.

If you need to get rid of something, please get rid of the Family Feed instead.
