Trouble with 1880 U.S. Federal Census
I am looking for a particular page(s) in the 1880 U.S. Federal Census that I cannot seem to find anywhere. I used A.I. to help me figure out a brick wall I have. It brought up information of where my family is apparently listed on a page of the census that I cannot find. I have been through the Census pages for Shelton, Hamilton, Illinois on both FamilySearch and Ancestry trying to locate this/these page(s). I asked A.I. for the citation information and it references:
Citation: Year: 1880; Census Place: Hamilton, Illinois; Roll: 210; Page: 583C; Enumeration District: 028.
- 1880 Census (Mary & Peter): ED 28, Stamped Page 583, Lines 23 & 35.
- 1880 Census (William D.): ED 27, Stamped Page 551, Line 37.
Household Members:
- Mary Sinks (Age ~45): Born in Illinois. She identifies her parents as being born in Kentucky (Father) and South Carolina (Mother).
- James L. Sinks (Age 13): Listed as her son, born in Illinois.
- Occupation: Her occupation is listed as "Keeping House."
- Primary (Living with Son): 1880 U.S. Census, Hamilton Co., IL, ED 28, Page 583C.
- Secondary (Near Peter): 1880 U.S. Census, Hamilton Co., IL, ED 20, Page 436D.
It even gave me names of "neighbors" whom I also cannot locate when I search for them which leads me to believe we are missing some pages. But if A.I. is able to reference what pages this so called information is located on, it means that these pages are in existence (citing FamilySearch and Ancestry) so I am wondering if I am looking in the wrong places or something is amiss.
Thanks for the help in advance.

Good morning @Lisa Sinks
There is a dedicated group for questions/feedback regarding the AI assistant. You'll find it at https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/334-ai-enhanced-help-center-searches-ask-a-help-chatbot-ai-research-assistant
In my experience, the AI assistant sometimes hallucinates and suggests sources that are not relevant. It does, however, provide the URL of the record to make it easier for you to view the exact record and determine if it belongs to your person of interest.
For example, on my great-aunt, profile L8YS-5TR, the AI assistant suggested a Belgian record that does not belong to my aunt. It provided the full URL so I was able to view the record.
In the AI side panel, there should be a file box icon and the words "All Sources." If you click on the icon, all the sources should be listed.
The one marked New at the top is one I had not already attached. It is Belgian record that does not apply to a woman who was born in New York and who lived her life in New Jersey.
When I click on that New source, this is the result:
Can you re-check the profile you were working on and see if the URL of the source will open for you? Or provide the profile number you were working on, so we can investigate?
Hope this helps.

@Lisa Sinks Yeah, none of those pages exist in the book. It jumps from 583B to 584C (stamped page #'s), but if you look at the handwritten page numbers in the left corner none are missing: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GYB9-XJM?view=explore&groupId=TH-1951-25141-2776-36&lang=en
It is the same for the images in Ancestry.
