Issue with viewing England, Births and Christenings records

Has something changed that I can no longer view some records from the England Births and Christenings records?

When I click on the link, it briefly shows the page, then I get this error message:

We're unable to show this record.

This record can only be displayed on certain accounts. FamilySearch must honor the agreements we have with our partners, record owners, and internal policies.

I am based in the UK and have been searching and attaching records like these for a long time and have suddenly seen this error message.

Thanks

Anita

That record set covers up to 1975. With recent changes to privacy regulations, many recent records or indexes are no longer available to view.

If you have specific records you can provide it might help to get a clearer answer to the problem.

Recent changes in the laws of this country have required permission changes in how the FamilySearch catalog and other information are obtained and viewed by the public. The first suggestion I can offer at this time is to keep trying to access the records over time, as the permissions may change in the future. Remember that the 1920s to current are not normally allowed because of privacy restrictions.

I can also suggest that at this time you take advantage of other platforms for research, such as Ancestry or FindMyPast, to name a few, which work under different restrictions than FamilySearch.

You may also want to contact the original Archives that hold the records if it is still possible to go directly to the source. (You will find the archive listed in the catalog record.)
