    @Amy Archibald My computer shows AI Research Assistant as a Lab Experiment- has AI RI status been updated or rolled-out to the general public? I have lots of possible relatives but I have not done enough personal research for Verifiable Sources to feel comfortable merging possible duplicates or even to be sure/positive that other contributors haven't unintentionally linked the name to the wrong family — without my personal bit of paranoia/OCD issues I'd have to believe that I'm related to all 124 Mayflower passengers in addition to royal families of at least 10 different countries on all 7-8 continents, most DAR families, all the daughters of Utah Pioneers, etc! so (finally) my question: How can I use FS productively without checking everything with Ancestry at the very least? I've been using Find tool under Family Tree but I have to go outside FS to narrow the results enough to find the real person I'm looking for.

    PS If I use the Record Hints campaign and am not comfortable with my findings, does that Hint/Name "go away" or get dismissed or can I come back to the same hint once I've reviewed/compared actual sources or original documents?

    @maryellenstevensbarnes1

    Some AI Research is now a feature on the home page of FamilySearch.

    You can just skip a record hint if you aren't sure about it. The hint will remain on the person's detail page unless it gets dismissed or unless something changes in the person's details to make the hint no longer applicable.

    You can use all the record collections you have access to - like Ancestry. You don't have to limit your research to FamilySearch collections.

    @maryellenstevensbarnes1 I don't see what's changed here, surely you've always had to check Record Hints before accepting them (and they've always been machine-generated)?
